On Diwali, Students Campaign against Firecrackers

Some celebrities prefer to stay home with their families and some prefer to play cards, a releatively recent phenomenon, or party with friends.
Although, traditionally, Diwali is marked by the bursting of firecrackers, an environmentally-conscious generation of schoolchildren, is campaigning against this polluting activity. In doing so, they are protesting the use of child labor in the manufacture of firecrackers, most of which are made in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu.
